ETA (Equipment Type Approval) through Self-declaration for all WiFi / Bluetooth products:
RANITRONICS supports to get WPC-ETA licenses through self-declaration under ETA-WPC policy/2018-19/ dated 26/2/19 for import of certain categories of Wireless Equipment in license exempt bands as permitted in India for test / proto-type / sample / pre-launch devices (Mobile handsets, Smartphones, Electronic notepads, Laptops, Smart watches, SRDs including accessories, microphones, headphones, speakers, earphones, printers, scanners, mouse, keyboard, TV, camera, EPON/GPON WiFi products and any other WiFi & Bluetooth products. WPC Registration requires RF (Radio Frequency) test report for Equipment Type Approval (ETA) for their product operating in these frequency bands.
Requirements to apply for WPC ETA in India:
- Preparation of WPC application documents describing technical details about product – like, user manual, technical brochure
- Soft copy of RF Test Report of Product from a NABL accredited Indian laboratory
- Application to WPC online by submitting all documents and test reports Authorization Letter and ID Proof for Signing the Documents issued by Head of Manufacturing Unit
- Issuance of the WPC ETA license from WPC
